We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Compensation to join our team based in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to North American compensation including the assessment, process design, implementation, and administration of base pay and incentive programs and policies that support business objectives and sustain business competitiveness.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Working with the Senior Director, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, establish the compensation strategy and set short- and long-term objectives to drive the success of the function.

Plans, analyzes and manages merit and bonus program; provides accrual estimates, plan payouts, and timelines to finance.

Manages compensation structures including communication, training and developing guidelines.

Reviews salary adjustment request and position approval proposal for company-wide non-union positions; makes recommendations based on internal equity and external competitiveness for multi business units domestically and internationally

Presents company-wide non-union position approval and salary adjustment requests for President's approval

Evaluates, provides assessment and recommendations on the market competitiveness of union positions; develop proposal, facilitate and coordinate the approval process for union salary changes and mass increases; implement any changes, as appropriate

Evaluates any new or revised job descriptions and determines appropriate job grades and salary ranges; partners with legal department to determine FLSA classification

Ensures the new job code, job grade, new salary ranges exist in Ultipro, Taleo and compensation structure.

Validates job grades in the compensation structure to ensure the grade assignment is aligned with the market and reflects the internal value.

Provides consulting services to HR Business Partners on compensation policies and practices.

Audits and diagnoses compensation issues in the workplace and identifies appropriate strategies to resolve problems.

Supports gategroup headquarter with executive compensation including off-cycle payments, bonus guarantees, retention payments and equity awards vesting.

Assists with designing and implementing international assignment packages including tax and relocation administration

Communicates effectively and pro-actively the status of compensation projects.

Partners with divisional HR leads and functional managers to ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and accessible by all employees.

Reviews employee job title with divisional HR leads and conducts impact analysis for job title changes

Partners with Legal counsel to conduct audits and manages audit process to ensure compliance of compensation policies and legal requirements.

Manages special projects as assigned. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
