Looking for an individual with significant experience and knowledge of standing up and implementing a new acquisition/contracts organization. The successful candidate will have significant experience in Federal/DOD contracts and acquisitions. The successful candidate will work daily with a highly experienced GS-15 and will prepare reports/presentation for flag/general/SES Level government officials on a daily basis. The candidate must be capable of operating individually to produce a formal deliverables that require: research, analysis, document, review and revisions. Reports will need to be based on federal and DOD acquisition (and related) policy. The work environment also requires an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, who is able to advise clients in real time of recommendations to solve emerging challenges. Ideally, the candidate will have a working knowledge of the DOD acquisition governance and policy development/approval process.
