ThreatTrack Security is searching for an experienced Java developer to help build the next version of computer security products.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong engineering skills.
The person in this position will:
Design and implement back-end software
Participate in design and code reviews
Work with test engineers to identify and fix defects
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5
years of experience designing and implementing software systems in Java
- Hands on experience developing Ruby on Rails (RoR) applications
- Demonstrated expertise in building distributed, client/server systems.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and performance optimization strategies
- A strong understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux
- Hands on experience of working in platform teams building reusable infrastructure and service components running at high transactional volumes
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL desired
- Strong knowledge of open source technologies such as Spring, Apache Camel, Hibernate, Jersey (REST), etc
- Experience designing security solutions for operating systems and distributed systems highly desirable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
