We are seeking an accounting assistant to work closely with the Accounting Director and Accounting Manager.
Must be able to work in small but busy company.
Flexible work week schedule is available after training has been completed.
Responsibilities Data entry of American Express Statements into Peachtree accounting system Accounts Payable work which includes entering and scanning bills into Peachtree; printing and mailing checks Process purchase order and invoices Prepare diverse commission statements Additional accounting tasks as needed Requirements Two
years working in an accounting department is preferred BS in Accounting is preferred Previous experience using accounting software is required; Peachtree experience is a plus Proficient to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel Must be detail oriented, confidential, and have strong attention to detail Demonstrates ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
