The Ultra Sales & Marketing function is responsible for growth of both the business development opportunity pipeline and the closure of sales by negotiating the terms and conditions in contracts. Through good business development practices and strong, senior-level customer interaction this function will deliver the defined business opportunities and develop a marketing strategy that demonstrates achievable levels of profitable growth in line with the overall business plan. Take ownership of the strategic plan for our largest and most visible customer :
US Army Develop, present and execute winning sales pursuit strategies and lead the way in the execution of the resulting tactical plan. Act as a trusted advisor to the customer on the best approach to solve their needs Act as an advisor with the product management team on the roadmap towards business growth with the US Army Lead cross-functional teams effectively during pre-sale stages, especially during preparation and delivery of demonstrations, trials, and proposals. Develop and advocate the bid/no-bid business case objectively and astutely. Manage the Sales Funnel by employing effective strategies to develop opportunities from prospecting stage to booking. Win orders - identify, plan and lead the execution of strategies to obtain orders as per budget through the internal bid approval process. Define business proposal and win strategies for presentation during the bid approval process. Partner and build relationships - build and strengthen relationships with customers, agents, governments and other business partners. Obtain market intelligence - systematically acquire the market knowledge and competitive intelligence that will support innovative and successful win strategies Promote Company Image and Reputation - represent the Company through participation in shows, presentations and other events. Required Skills A bachelor degree with 8
years in US acquisition programs. Ability to obtain a US government security clearance. Clearances are granted to US citizens Preferred Skills Retired Signal Corp professional with understanding of communications doctrine and technologies.Excellent written and oral communication skills Sales and Marketing experience in defense industry. Knowledge of relevant government procurement regulations an asset. Able to travel 40% or as needed. Able to work effectively with geographically and time-separated team members. Able to work from a home office when not travelling
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
