SOC Telemed is looking for a Clinical Training Specialist that willlead Clinical Providers training, Clinical Providers readiness and clinical effectiveness programs.
This will include SOC Core Clinical Providers and Managed Services Clinical Providers to ensure maximum readiness to provide patient care via Telemedicine.
The Clinical Training Specialist will work closely with the Manager, Clinical Training & Education to create a process for improving clinical staff engagement and education to foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission of SOC Telemed.
The Clinical Training Specialist will partner with the Manager, Clinical Training and Education in the development and implementation of an innovative and thorough onboarding experience for Clinical Providers, and development of technical improvements to platform functionality that will support SOC Telemed becoming an employer of choice.
The Clinical Training Specialist will be responsible for managing training functions in accordance with best practices, regulatory requirements and strategic organizational goals.
The Clinical Training Specialist will work with the Training Department to create engaging course content utilizing varied software packages to serve as the primary education and training for Clinical Providers.
This content will be provided to Clinical Providers via a variety of media including but not limited to Learning Management Systems, Live video education (1-1 or Webinars), pdf documents and education workflows and manuals.
The right person will be able to partner with cross functional leaders to develop and implement effective training and change management solutions that will provide excellent patient care and drive our business growth.
Essential FunctionsDevelop and maintain Clinical Providers training material for onboarding SOC Core and Managed Services Clinical ProvidersConduct training with new Clinical Providers during onboarding process with SOC Telemed; Training is provided through a combination of E-Learning, 1:
1 video sessions or webinars and covers all service lines provided by SOC TelemedConduct ongoing and refresher training with Clinical ProvidersCreate training documents for Clinical Providers training across all service lines internally and externally and be responsible for modifying training material, videos/documents/content utilizing such programs as Articulate, Word and PowerPoint applicationsConduct training with new clients on an as needed basis if clinical perspective is neededParticipate in departmental planning processes as appropriateMaintain a favorable, collaborative working relationship with all departments to ensure efficient working environment to achieve company's missionMaintain positive team spirit and foster a positive organization culture that aligns with SOC valuesPerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requestedRequirementsRequired Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing Education, Education or related field from an accredited college or universityClinical training experience in a healthcare setting or corporate environmentMinimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in clinical environment, training program design and management or related fieldsTwo (2) years of project or program management responsibilities associated with training initiatives, organizational change management or equivalent combination of education and experienceProven ability to support and lead cross-functional teams and provide project management supportLMS ManagementExperience developing programs for Onboarding, continuing education and/or corporate universitySkillsExcellent inter-personal, communication, analytical, organizational, management, and negotiation skills are requiredUnderstanding of instructional design methodology and software programsExcellent computer skills and in-depth experience with applicable software programs are required (ie, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, etc.
)Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysisProblem structuring and strategic problem solving skillsAdvanced skills developing compelling presentationsSuperior facilitation skillsExperience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) Training preferredExperience with healthcare simulation preferredBenefitsBenefits Include:
