Working closely with the senior director, communications and institution leaders, the position develops strategies to enhance the reputation of the institutions, and provide consistency, clarity and alignment of messaging. This position is responsible for driving earned media results, managing press relations and directing external communications activities, with a focus on alignment with Adtalem's overall strategic messaging and reputation management. The position partners with agency partners and internal communications colleagues to design, develop, and produce communications for Adtalem's three segments:
Chamberlain University, Adtalem Medical and Veterinary and Walden University. As member of the Adtalem press office and an Adtalem media spokesperson, this position reports directly to the senior director, communications. Responsibilities Develop external communications strategy and implement public affairs communication plan to support Adtalem's Medical & Veterinary, Chamberlain University, and Walden University. Work directly with the senior director, communications and institution leaders to promote positive relationships with the press and media, and execute earned media results through targeted media interviews, news releases, op eds, LTE's and thought leadershp events. Seek and identify newsworthy media opportunities that showcase the institutions, its students, faculty, alumni, and programs. Actively protect organizational reputation through sound media engagement and messaging. Implement coordinated communications, ensuring consistency of messaging in collaboration with internal communications and alignment with defined objectives. Support and drive a consistent messaging platform across all stakeholder initiatives and materials. Oversees a team of external communications professionals responsible for cultivating and creating content and implementing earned media tactics to achieve external communication goals. Network with third parties to promote each institution's brand and image. Support executive management by drafting and/or editing communications as needed. Assist Investor Relations and Crisis Management teams, and serve as contact with the media and other external audiences. Track and analyze external communications initiatives. Handles related duties as assigned by senior director, communications. Completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, media relations, journalism or a related field. 10 years of experience in related positions, including 5 years minimum management experience. Well-developed writing and journalistic skills, press and external relations. Strong management, coaching and leadership skills. Strong collaboration skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across the organization. Strong organizational, logistical and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality. Experience working with third party agencies preferred.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
