Linux System Administrator-Shift Work
This position requires shift work including nights and weekends.
The Oracle National Security Group is seeking cloud operators that have a passion for customer service and experience as a systems administrator that has knowledge of cloud concepts and system integration that can support a number of exciting internal Oracle and customer facing engagements.
This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth.
Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems and feel comfortable working directly with customers, as well as, on innovative internal development efforts.
This role is an integral part of an elite team with diverse skill sets that designs and delivers unique solutions that integrate a wide variety of Oracle commercial hardware, software, and cloud into secure, mission critical solutions for our government customers.

Qualifications:
Experience as a government civilian, through the military (reserve or veteran), or as a contractor in the Defense, Military Intelligence Or Intelligence CommunityFunctional expertise and hands on experience as a software engineer, customer support or security engineer with knowledge for applying these skills to cloud, data and analytics, cyber securityExperience with Oracle technologies including the applicability and usage of these technologies by customersPassion for technology, the curiosity and willingness to learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challengesUnderstanding of security principals related to networking, data security, and cloud securityThe ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and, vice versa, translate functional needs to technical solutions Experience with any of the following is an added bonus:
Shell scripting (eg bash)PerlAnsible, Chef, or PuppetOracle Database VaultOracle Label SecurityPL/SQL8570.
01M Certification Experience with Risk Management Framework/ICD 503 accreditation process & documentation Required
Qualifications:
US Citizenship with an active TS/SCI2 years or more of technical experience relevant to this positionUndergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferredProduct or technical expertise relevant to practice focusAbility to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clientsAbility to travel as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
