About the Opportunity:
Joint Enterprise Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Training Manager to be responsible for developing and maintaining a cybersecurity training curriculum.
The successful candidate will support strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise, our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities.
Required Clearance:
AN ACTIVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO APPLY.
Willingness to submit to and pass a Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Location:
Reston, VA Functional duties consist of:
Creating playlists within the customer Learning Management System (LMS) that contains training curated from both internal and external reference sources.
Identifying gaps in required training topics; and researching, identifying, and recommending training to cover those gaps.
Tracking and reporting training metrics for all contracted personnel on contract.
This includes content delivery and certification tracking to support program requirements.
Developing and coordinating the development of new training that can be internally hosted on the customer LMS.
Assisting the program with training related activities, supporting budget planning for training, etc.
Identifying and sharing training related materials with customers, where possible.
Reviewing and recommending improvements to existing On-the-Job training procedures that work to improve the performance of the overall program.
Identifying future training needs and incorporating into existing curriculum.
Preferred Skills:
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Familiarity with micro-Learning techniques and platforms/media such as:
Sharepoint Youtube Adobe Acrobat Photoshop or comparable graphics programs Podcasts (Apple, Google, etc mobile stores) Audio, image and video content creation Experience creating training content, training curriculum, etc.
Experience collecting and reporting metrics associated with training delivery Required Education and
Experience:
HS/GED
12 years experience Associates Degree
10 years experience Bachelor's Degree
8 years experience Master's Degree
6 years experience PhD
4 years experience Required Certifications:
A minimum of one certification from each of the following categories:
IAT II - Security
