HCA Nurse Residency Program StaRN Program (10-22 weeks total): Our StaRN Program will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in today s hospital environment. It will help you transition out of the classroom setting and onto the unit by providing the following training: 5-10 weeks classroom, self-study, skills & simulations5-12 weeks preceptorshipCertifications: ECG, TeamSTEPPS, BLS/ACLS, CPI Length of training & certifications received varies based on unitAfter StaRN, you will transition into our Professional Development Residency:9 month program factored into a full time position on the unitYou will learn Charge Nurse skillsYou will collaborate with a mentor to complete an evidence based Capstone Project (4 hours a month)Your project has an opportunity to gain recognition by corporate for further recognition Cohort Start Date: February 2023 Units We Offer: PCU, Medical Care Unit, and General Surgery Unit This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
