The Vice President, School Academic Operations provides oversight and guidance to areas of focus to ensure all aspects of the business are achieved.
Specifically, the Vice President School Academic operations ensures all policies, programs and processes are in place to support student academic achievement and day to day operational processes.
This includes support for local school job roles and cross functional team execution of the necessary products and services in support of school academic operations.

Drive business objectives for schools for academic and operational performance Oversee Stride's Strategic School Playbook and drive changes to achieve the best performance outcomes Set the vision for the academic achievement and growth of all schools Own the successful launch of new school programs in collaboration with school leadership Ensure the implementation of student engagement and retention metrics are achieved Drive attainment of high school graduation and dropout targets Drive teacher excellence across all schools Drive the culture of Stride's school leadership attributes and address skill gaps Develop successful academic leaders that drive engagement and student success Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 3 - 8 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and career growth to other members of the Academic Operations team.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Ten (10) years of relative work experience, eight (8) years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Focuses on driving outcomes and results Strong management experience Ability to lead change management Strong communication skills Passionate about education, educational choice and enabling students to be their best.
MS 365; Web proficiency.
Ability to travel 50% of the time Ability to clear required background check PREFFERED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field of study Certificates and Licenses:

Benefits:
Stride, Inc.
considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level.
Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections.
Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $172,031 to $275,250.
The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors.
These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
Eligible employees may receive a bonus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
