Summary:
The Sales Manager for Mid-Market is a member of the Management Team and must demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor and communicate effectively.
This position is responsible for all activities related to managing tactical sales efforts and achieving software sales objectives.
Specific responsibilities include delivering software revenue and controlling selling expenses, maintaining adequate staffing and tenure levels, and monitoring individual and team sales activity supportive of the companys financial plan.
As a manager, this position has primary responsibility for hiring, developing and directing the day-to-day activities of sales team.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Meet and exceed set team sales quotas while operating within a standard operating framework.
Manage all sales efforts, including the selling activities of the sales team and monitoring of the sales funnel.
Develop and run weekly sales meetings and educational activities to improve competitive and business process knowledge as well as professional selling skills of the team.
Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of sales tactics, costs, and results.
Supervise personnel including recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
Facilitate a strong and productive working relationship between the sales team and other departments including marketing and professional services.
Participate in the development of operating goals and objectives for the sales team; recommend, implement, and administer methods and procedures to enhance sales activity and productivity.
Provide ongoing feedback for product enhancements and market intelligence.

Experience Required 1-2 years:
