Our client is currently seeking a Senior Capture Manager DutiesoIdentify opportunities in accordance with company and account growth strategy.
oResearch and present identified opportunities at stage reviews for qualification, and bid/no bid decision.
oActively conduct and manage all capture activities associated with qualified opportunities, working with the applicable Corporate and Operations teams.
oDetermine capture team resource requirements associated with bids and proposals.
oCoordinate with solution architects, proposal resources, partners, and consultants to drive progress on active captures.
oUnderstand corporate capabilities; strengths; and weaknesses and direct the development of capture strategies.
oIdentify gaps in capabilities and/or resources and develop a plan for filling those gaps.
oInteract with a broad range of departments (i.
e.
; People and Culture; Finance; Solution Architects etc.
) to develop and execute win and price strategies.
oWork with pricing to develop a price-to-win strategy that ensures program and financial risks are mitigated.
oPrepare and deliver bid/no bid recommendations (i.
e.
stage reviews) to company leadership.
Experienceo(3) Junior (5) Mid (10) Senior years or more of progressive experience in a growth role focused on capture (capture management and/or business development)oSolid understanding of Federal and DoD acquisition lifecycle, customers' buying trends, budgets, and requirements.
oStrong working knowledge of the Shipley or like business development and capture management processes and techniques.
oProven track record of leading and winning contracts within the Federal market, including experience with new business opportunities and recompete efforts.
oStrong understanding of the federal acquisition process, including GWAC, Agency MAC, and alternative contracting models (OTA etc.
).
oExceptional strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate market and customer insights into winning capture strategies.
oExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
oProficiency in competitive analysis, market research, and pricing strategies.
oExperience participating in proposal development and solutioning sessions.
oStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams in successful capture efforts.
oHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple capture efforts concurrently.
