Security Assessment Analyst
Must understand Risk Analysis and documenting best practices and security policies. Must understand basic security risks and do risk scoring and manage it in the Risk Tracking system, should be Remedy.Essential duties Evaluate third party relationships for compliance to organization security standards Collaborate with IT department and Business colleagues to develop security programs, policies and practices as an SME Researches security trends, new methods, and techniques used in order to preemptively eliminate the possibility of system breach Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on information security related projects and initiatives assigned Research the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with the subject and use the latest technology to protect information. Develop a security plan for best standards and practices for the company. They will need to have the ability to perform security assessments on proposed solutions and designs Finally, they will be part of the larger security team that develops, designs, and follows Security policies adhering to frameworks and standards (PCI, SOC1/2, NIST, ISO27000 series, etc) as well as the promotion of security best practices. Ensure all security devices are properly documented and defined in our asset tracking database (Remedy). About SES:
