Project Superintendent

Job Purpose:
Assists Senior Project Manager with on-site project management, installation and coordination for national specialty construction sub-contractor (Division 8 and 10).

Job Duties:
Lead technicians and installers on job site and interface with GC superintendent
Deal with all deliveries and logistics of product delivery to site
Travel to supply houses and buy materials on company card
Supervise all first tier sub-contractors and project foreman
Attend weekly sub-contractors meetings as required
Visit project site, do layout and install unistrut rods, set heights and advise techs
Travel to visit job sites (fly or drive, at company's expense) and take field measurements
Drive company trucks to sites and deliver materials
Coordinate and summarize activities in daily field report to project manager, including taking project pictures and documentation
Applicant must have metal carpentry skills and able to read plans. Must have valid driver's license, excellent written communication, fluency in English, strategic planning, attention to detail, communication and strong phone skills.
Proficiency in Spanish a plus. Proficiency in electrical work a plus. Proficiency in electrical work a plus.
Should be knowledgeable with both PC and Mac operating systems, including mobile platforms.
Five years minimum experience in carpentry and/or construction project management required.
Must be able to provide references.

M-F, 7am-5:00pm.

$50,000/year starting salary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
