Construction Supervisor/Owner Representative

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Represent Owner/Developer while overseeing General Contractor work activities in accordance with plans and specification, insuring the work in a manner consistent with standards of quality to deliver Class A Luxury Multifamily Development
Â
       Â
Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with contractor, subcontractors and suppliers
Â
       Â
Monitors schedules and work sequences to ensure project achieves scheduled milestones. Complete necessary reporting and analysis of milestone and field work events to development team
Â
       Â
Review technical reports and specifications to ensure standards are met in order to deliver a high-quality project in accordance with contract documents.
Â
Ability to identify deficient work, document, and direct corrective measures, while working collaboratively with the general contractor
Â
       Â
Ability to complete assigned tasked independently and execute in the field
Â
       Â
Work with development team to oversee construction operations and ultimate delivery of project, including walk-through inspections and punch list management
Â
       Â
Complete necessary reporting and documentation of project progress
Â
Job Requirements
The Construction Supervisor must have:

       Â
Must have minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role in the multi-family and/or interior tenant construction, and/or commercial construction arena, preferably for a development firm or as an owner representative
Â
       Â
College degree in construction engineering, construction management or related field
Â
       Â
Possess strong ability in a collaborative environment
Â
       Â
Be proficient in MS Office products
Â
       Â
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with contractors and outside consultants
Â
       Â
Excellent problem solving skills
Â
       Â
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized and efficient mannerÂ

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
