TITLE: Administrative Support
PROJECT Overview:
Providing Administrative duties to The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Director of Air Warfare (OPNAV N98)
JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Provide Operational Support:
Assist in the management of office communication:
o Telephone
o Sort and distribute mail
o Prepare and maintain appointment calendars for shared resources
o Coordinate and schedule appointments in N98 conference rooms
o Facilitate VTC and audio bridge reservations with Government providers
o Visitor control functions (greet, screen, validate, convey to point of contact, etc.).
o Facilitate correspondence (letters, directives, memoranda, newsletters, etc):
o Prepare draft template and standard language
o Edit for spelling, grammar, and format
o Prepare templates and edit graphical presentations and spreadsheets
Provide multimedia and audiovisual support for N98 meeting and conferences. Specifically, oversee and support VTC set-up and verify equipment operation for the N98 conference rooms
Provide draft correspondence, naval messages, assistance with faxing, copying, collating of issue papers, point papers, instructions, speeches, articles, presentations, and briefings and other correspondence as required
Prepare templates, submit, track, and retrieve travel orders and travel vouchers for the Government; coordinate transportation and lodging reservations.
Process electronic mail and naval messages.
Provide business operations support and security expertise during meetings:
Integrate and distribute agendas
Draft, administer, and distribute minutes
Copy and distribute documentation
Develop and maintain files (hard copy and electronic)
Participate in preparation of Personnel listings, and manual updates
Plan for and order required office supplies and equipment for all personnel in the assigned office space
Archive and store historical documentation
Core working hours of 0800-1600
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience participating in business
services
Demonstrated expertise with software and systems:
o Microsoft Windows
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft PowerPoint
SECRET clearance
Solid communications skills
DESIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
WORK LOCATION: Arlington,VAEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
