Job Description:
Software System Developer needed on a software development and data management project. The project involves the preparation of large datasets for delivery to a shared cloud computing and storage environment.
Mandatory Skills:
1) Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise systems including: designing, integrating, coding, testing, deploying and supporting software intensive systems.
2) Demonstrated experience in Configuration management discipline.
3) Demonstrated Development experience meeting rigorous interface specification and performance requirements.
4) Demonstrated experience with developer tools to support all activities including but not limited to: IDEs, automated test tools, design tools, automated deployment utilities, and configuration management environments.
5) Demonstrated experience with XML, XSLT, XML Schema and.
6) Demonstrated experience with service oriented architecture (SOA) and web
services
development (REST and/or SOAP) including frameworks and ESB.
7) Demonstrated experience with UI framework development.
8) Demonstrated experience in Search Technology implementation.
9) Demonstrated experience with noSQL/SQL.
10) Demonstrated experience in configuring and using Apache web server and Tomcat or equivalent.
11) Demonstrated troubleshooting and debugging experience.
12) Demonstrated experience in with Scripting Programming Languages, such as Perl, Python.
Desired Skills:
1) Master Data Management experience.
2) Experience with Large-Scale (Terabytes) Data.
3) Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
4) MPP architecture experience.
5) Familiarity with AWS and other Cloud platforms/technologies.
6) Experience developing in the customer information security environment including Sponsor Secure System Administration training completion and administrative account access.
