Helios HR is seeking a Channel Account Manager in Reston, VA.
Helios' client is a leading global Hybrid Network Operator providing a unique portfolio of wholesale last-mile centric connectivity services in more than 200 countries to international carriers, integrators and solution providers. They offer services such as Internet access (xDSL, cable, Fttx, leased line, wireless, 3G/4G/LTE and satellite),Ethernet access, virtual private network services, hardware and on-site professional services. Place in the organization
The Channel Account Manager is a member of the Sales team and reports to the Managing Director USA.
Job purpose and Scope
Due to the global success of our client, they are now looking to further strengthen their Sales team with an experienced Channel Account Manager. Besides hunting for new customers, the primary role is to manage existing customers in North America and further develop these relationships from a revenue generation, margin optimization, and customer satisfaction perspective. Typically, this involves strategic development (incl. training, process and systems integration) and operational funnel management of domestic and international multi-site VPN projects consisting of various services (e.g. Internet Access, Ethernet Access, VPN, hardware, on-site professional services and other connectivity related solutions) for our customers' end-customers. Our customers (channels) are typically large global telecom carriers, integrators, and solution providers. Their end-customers are typically multinational enterprises and governments.
Key responsibilities
Searching existing customer accounts (channels) and building relations at various strategic (level 1) and operational (level 2) levels
Closing Master Service Agreements and operationalizing processes (quoting, ordering, support and billing)
Qualifying, responding, and proactively following up on all customer inquiries
Acting as focal point for all RFI's, RFP's, orders, escalations, etc.
Serving as customer advocate
Liaising with internal (pre and post-sales) departments while managing customer expectations
Participating in various project teams in order to support the business
Education and work experience
Bachelors or equivalent and proven sales track record
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of New Business / Account Management experience
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the telecommunications or technology industry in a similar position
Hardworking, results driven, persistent, quality driven, and a strong commercial sense
Must possess superior communication skills
Knowledge of data / IP services and underlying network and access technologies
Experienced in negotiating contracts
Willingness to work unsociable hours and comfortable working in a high-paced, dynamic, international work environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
