Business Development Representative / Sales Lead Generator - Advanced Threat
We are looking for a detail oriented, highly motivated individual who will identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. This individual will develop relationships through prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads, while maintaining an energetic phone presence and utilizing active listening skills. This is a crucial role in expanding sales and the ideal candidate would be focused, have a positive attitude and can thrive in a dynamic, high growth industry.
EXAMPLE OF JOB DUTIES
Develop new business via telephone and mass communication (e.g. email and social media).
Follow-up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
Work with sales and marketing teams to grow the pipeline of prospective clients.
Meet or exceed monthly lead generation goals.
Take the initiative to thoroughly learn the market as well as products and services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail; problem solving skills; ability to learn quickly and adapt even faster
Self-starter: motivated and able to take the initiative.
Charismatic, dynamic, extroverted personality with strong persuasion skills.
Strong customer service, sales or telemarketing background.
Willingness to learn and to accept feedback.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Communications or related field. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
ASSIGNMENT DURATION: Full-time position in Reston, VA.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
