Position Description:
Novetta has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and accomplished Mid to Senior-level Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Development, QA and Services teams to support business goals and to help ensure Novetta products are released in a timely manner.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with project managers, system engineers, architects, and testing team members to develop specifications
- Make recommendations on existing systems using new and emerging technologies to promote system stability
Basic
Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile software development teams, designing, developing, testing and maintaining software and hardware
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Java
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Ruby on Rails
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience with JavaScript
- Experience developing detailed specifications, analysis of requirements, creating documentation, designing solutions, writing the program code, verifying and validating the code, and assisting with the deploying of the code.
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required
