The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is a leading professional services firm with a growing software engineering and product development team. We design and build things that are inspiring and make a real impact in the online testing industry. We are currently seeking a Software QA Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC or Reston, VA.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and timely logging of issues to the bug logging system.
Accurately report findings to the Lead and Manager for all the assigned tasks.
Interact with internal users to obtain and convey concise problem information in a professional manner by phone, email, and in person.
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of proven manual software testing experience in a functional QA team performing White Box testing of Web Applications in GUI and Data Layer.
Working knowlege of SQL and databases is required.
Prior experience working/manipulating/parsing data files is preferred.
Experience in cross browsers/ cross platforms is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to prioritize multiple workloads and deliver timely results.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Superior attention to details.
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills and a logic-based approach to problem solving.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
