Credit Analyst
Position Summary
Access National bank is actively seeking a Credit Analyst.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Candidate will prepare credit reviews for use in decision making.
Essential Functions
The ideal candidate must be capable of completing financial statement spreads, personal cash flow and global debt services analysis.
Generate financial ratios to evaluate balance sheet strength and performance trends.
Candidate must be capable of preparing written analysis and assign risk rating on both middle market and complex commercial transactions to determine the ability to service debt.
Qualifications include over 3 years of experience in financial statement analysis and commercial underwriting. Must have excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Proficient in spreadsheet, word-processing and database applications including Microsoft Office, a must.
