Software Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Use a service oriented architecture (SOA) approach to integrate software applications and data feeds consisting of a variety of communication protocols across multiple networks primarily focused on Linux and Windows. Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct software applications. Install, configure, and maintain client computing applications based on centralized and distributed architectures involving multiple domains at a global enterprise level for a diverse stakeholder community. Conduct application and security assessments to troubleshoot and optimize software performance and design. Take appropriate, timely action to resolve application interface problems when they occur, perform root cause analysis, and follow up to ensure the issues are addressed at the root level.
Basic
Qualifications:
2 years of experience with using service oriented architectures to develop applications
2 years of experience with working on enterprise Web application frameworks using languages and tools, including JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and Twitter Bootstrap
Experience with prior work for the intelligence community (IC)
Ability to successfully handle complex multi-domain issues and multi-level access environments
Active TS/SCI clearance
BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems, or Software Engineering and 6 years of experience with software engineering or 10 years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
Security
Certification within 6 months of hire required
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience with using Agile development methodology
Experience with special access programs (SAPs)
Knowledge of Windows Enterprise AD architecture
Knowledge of VMware Virtualization
Knowledge of ICD 503 system accreditation
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
