Business Systems Analyst


Job Description:
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The BSA will be instrumental in migrating a new tenant into an existing financial system.
The analyst will have frequent interactions with customer personnel to learn and document the customers' end-to-end business processes.
The analyst will learn the customers' data to support loading and converting data into the system and troubleshooting any data-related challenges.
The analyst will perform Fit-Gap analysis at an advanced level to identify differences between organizations' business processes and make recommendations for business process and system requirements changes.
The analyst will collaborate with functional and technical staff to implement development and configuration changes to the COTS application and customizations.
The analyst will support the entire Software Development Life Cycle both for the COTS implementation as well as for customizations. This includes:
Requirements gathering
System documentation
Testing
Training
The analyst will consult the new tenant post-implementation to support the change management process for end users.
EDUCATION &
Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Experience with one or more of the following areas:
Systems Implementation (Momentum Financials, Oracle Financials, Peoplesoft, SAP or MAXIMO), Systems Training, Configuration or Testing
Outstanding Oral and Written Communication Skills
Work Experience in a Team Environment
Excellent Client Management Skills
Must hold a Top Secret Clearance. SCI is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications:
Functional experience with Momentum Financials
Experience documenting and analyzing Financial Business Processes
Experience in Financial Management from a Systems Perspective
Knowledge of Financial/Acquisitions System Implementations
General understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

Experience:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 7-9 years of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
