Quality and Risk Manager

Project/Position Introduction.Overview
The Manager supports efforts to promote quality, compliance and risk management throughout the company. As a key member of the QRM team, this person has a primary role in implementing QRM and compliance initiatives and activities as outlined below.
Responsibilities
Manages administration of Authority Matrix including updates, maintenance, and improvements.
Conducts various types of analysis, quality assurance and quality control related to quality and risk management.
Performs key tasks related to Quality Council and Compliance Committee, Quality Forum, and other QRM related activities and meetings.
Performs QRM survey follow-up actions, such as client and project self-assessment surveys; conducts analysis, communicates with projects, and monitors progress.
Provides support for compliance training, both new hire and annual refresher.
Manages updates to policies and procedures, tools, and other materials on Knowledge Management System (KMS).
As needed, coordinates the corporate Business Review Committee (BRC) and High Profile Project (HPP) processes, including scheduling meetings, distributing key materials, capturing key action items, and following up on action items for BRCs.
Supports specific aspects of the Ethics Hotline, including but not limited to conducting investigations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
Certifications related to quality and risk management from organizations such as PMI and ASQ a plus.
1 to 5 years of experience required.
Strong work ethic, follow through, responsiveness, and reliability.
Results oriented and persuasive in achieving goals and compliance.
Some experience in implementation/management of projects and/or quality and risk management.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization and interact successfully with project staff.
Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new programs quickly.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; detail oriented with commitment to accuracy; strong process and performance metrics focus with commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable best practices.
Experience with compliance and writing policies and procedures and report development and generation.
Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team, as well as independently.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written (including business/technical) and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks concurrently.
Two years of experience in implementation/management of projects and quality and risk management preferred.
Familiarity with Health and Human Services programs in either the public or private sector preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
