Verisign is seeking new and recent college graduates with a demonstrated passion for efficient software development. While our high-scale services are written in C , we also are looking for folks who know Java (or another JVM language), as well as scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Javascript, and who are proficient with Linux/UNIX. The role:
As a Verisign software developer, you will:
work in one of our small agile scrum engineering teams building product features for Internet services;
have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of software development, including requirements analysis, design, development, automated test, and automated deployment; and
participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate cross-functionally with team members at many levels from Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and other organizations across the company.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
