Job Description:
Employees working on the OCI Defensive Security Team supporting US Government regions will be required to perform a broad range of security related functions which include:
Vulnerability scanning and scanner management, SIEM management and troubleshooting, security detection triage, digital forensics and incident response.
Ideally, the candidate will have applied experience with Splunk, Nessus, Suricata and other enterprise solutions.
Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to script in Python or GO, and have the ability to debug stack traces.
The candidate will be asked to work on a shift rotation, which could be a first, second or third shift, working a 4x10 hour work week, Sunday to Wednesday, or Wednesday to Saturday.

Experience engineering and managing a variety of security technologies in an enterprise environment including SIEM, Vulnerability scanners, IDS, firewalls, antimalware and other solutions.

years experience monitoring and responding to security alerts using a SIEM Basic scripting skills using Python, Go or other scripting language Experience managing and deploying Docker containers Ability to read and understand Java stack traces to identify problems for initial debugging Proficient with Linux operating system Preferred Requirements 5
Experience engineering and managing Splunk and other big data log aggregator solutions Experience managing and writing custom signatures for Suricata IDS and Zeke 1
years experience managing Nessus or Qualys vulnerability scanners Experience performing disk and memory forensics 3
years experience performing security incident response Proficiency with Python and Go.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
