GS-06:
To qualify at the GS-06 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level performing all of the following:
(1) processing recurring personnel actions in an automated personnel payroll system; (2) navigating a staffing system to determine the status and qualifications of applicants; and (3) assembling and tracking pre-employment paperwork to ensure timely completion of the hiring process. GS-07:
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level performing all of the following:
(1) independently processing Federal personnel actions (such as new hires, benefits changes, reassignments, within grade increases, terminations, promotions, etc.) in an automated personnel payroll system and determining legal authorities and nature of action codes; (2) uploading and verifying the accuracy of documents in e-OPF; and (3) computing creditable service. GS-08:
To qualify at the GS-08 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level performing all of the following:
(1) independently processing the full range of personnel actions using the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS), including appointments, separations, transfers, and promotions; (2) providing guidance concerning FEHB and FEGLI programs and processing enrollment changes; AND (3) researching and resolving complex payroll issues including the processing of multiple corrections. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
